PAX Panel Submissions!
Welcome to the PAX Online submission system! If you have something to say about gaming and need a crowd, you'll be hard pressed to find a more passionate, engaged, and thoughtful audience than the tens of thousands of gamers that converge on PAX.
We most commonly get submissions for panels, but we’re also open to hearing your ideas for meetups, workshops, and more.
The basic setup is an hour on the PAX schedule, and we look for speakers who can fill it with energetic, intelligent, hilarious, and fascinating stuff about gaming. We want things that our audience will find relevant to the gaming industry and gaming culture, from in-depth serious discussions to comedy debates to live gameplay. Those are just four examples but really the only limit is your ~~imagination~~.
When filling out this form, please attempt to make your submission as complete as possible, including the list of panelists you intend to bring with you. We make our choices solely on these submissions so any information that is incomplete cannot be factored into our final decisions. Here are some of the things we love to see while evaluating:
* Gaming topics that YOU are passionate about.
* Unique perspectives on those topics that we have not seen before.
* A diverse group of panelists. Don’t be afraid to reach outside your immediate network!
* Energetic panelists who are experts in their respective fields.
We know video calls can be unreliable. While it’s possible to run panels live, we strongly recommend you pre-recording your panels unless they require live audience engagement.
You won’t need to do this until your panel is approved. After your panel is approved, we’ll be in touch with more details about how to send us the recording. We’ll double-check to make sure it’s all looking good, and let you know when we’ll run it during the show. The best way to run Q+A during a pre-recorded panel would be to hang out in the chat while it airs!
Remember you can update your entries at any time until submissions close, and you’re welcome to submit as many ideas as you like. If you have any additional questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline for panel submissions is July 31st, 2020!
